Five Points Public Plaza & Frazier Ave Project Updates

July 2021 Update - Construction Continues for these projects and is expected to finish by the end of the year. 

Five Points Public Plaza - Construction is 80% completed. The plaza will be a cultural, education & entertainment public space that reflects the neighborhood's identy and history. Features include an amphitheater, water splash pad, public Wi-Fi, swings, tables and chairs, artwork and signage, solar lighting brick pavers, sidewalk, irrigation and a decorative wall. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2021. A community-led team is already planning events at the plaza, including a grand opening festival later this year. Frazier Ave Realignment Project - This project is located within teh CityCYNX Gold Line Phase 2 project area and is mostly complete. Remaining work includes installing permanent hand rails, landscaping and tree-planting on the plant strips and adjacent properties and seeding and mulching. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2021.
